VRS is a parallel medium school with learners in grades 1–7 with 6 classes per grade (3 English classes and 3 Afrikaans classes).

Founded in 1981 to accommodate the growing Melkbosstrand community, our school has evolved into a vibrant institution with over 1,125 learners and 80 staff members.
